Rudi Skacel would be nice. He's unattached and after Crawley tried to get him on loan, or at least Evans thought he could get him on loan, I wonder whether he'd be a goer. He also has a scoring record of nearly 1 in 2 for Hearts which is alright for a midfielder.

By all accounts we were, His formed slipped quite a bit towards the end of the season though. He has the ability, but he seems to me like the kind of player whose attitude wouldn’t of worked with PDC.

I was thinking that as well. If Collins goes, I guess (not being an expert on Shrewsbury Town) that is the crux of their promotion winning squad sold/released. He'll probably sign for Rotherham, Sharps that is.

As far as I'm aware EPPP wouldn't have applied to Powell and won't to players in similar positions in the future. EPPP applies to players under the age of 17 and so don't have a contract. I'd presume that once the player turns 17 and/or has signed a contract then the current rules apply - agree a fee (especially if under contract) or go to tribunal. So we'd have lost Henshall under EPPP but if he'd signed even a one year scholar contract then we wouldn't have. Palace would have been screwed on Bostock, they'd have got between £70k and £200k (dependent upon their academy status).

Apparently we have offered him the 2 year contract that Chelsea wouldn't.

Exeter fan I know says they're after Rooney as PDC "allegedly" reckons he can't step up to league one. No doubt complete BS but, hey, that's what this thread is all about right?

So di Canio chased Rooney confident in the knowledge that we were going up, and confident in the knowledge that Rooney wasn't good enough. Bloody hell, the evidence of my own eyes tells me that's crap.
