Watts pace could be a great assist at this level but its how he will deal getting kicked all over the park by thuggish defenders. this is one joule he wont win

Watt can't hold a candella to Caddis anyway. There will be no resistance from Crawley.

Sorry to interrupt the pun fest, but this Watt fella is on Arsenal's books. He has had loan spells at Leeds (Championship), Sheff Weds (League 1) and has now been farmed out to Crawley (League 2).

What are the chances that Arsenal release him and he's playing for someone like Gateshead next season?

I wouldn't be to shocked if that happened - but he's one player I thought would do well in the nPower league

He is fairly highly rated at the Arse so I hear but has never made an impact at any club hes played for, scored 1 goal in 36 games, a fair few as sub admittedly, but yes his career does seem to heading towards the non league route.

Much like Adam Birchall, starting highly regarded at the Arse then loaned out to lower league clubs then released and finds his level in the lower leagues.

My flatmate, who is related to a Man U player, has spoken before about how talent and effort has to be balanced.

Seemingly Chris Eagles as a youngster was a superstar and technically better than a lot of players at his level but wasted his talent by not putting in the effort of some of his other team mates and is now at Bolton!

I think also that attitude has also to be taken into consideration. Attitude, talent and application of effort, very few have all 3 but in the lower leagues many players have 1 of the 3.

If you do not have all 3 then you will not make it at the top level.

Completely right. And going back to the Man U example. At a club as big as theirs, I think a lot of youngsters probably think that they have already 'made it' at the club and therefore will have that billy big time attitude that invariably will see them not make it in the game.

A figure closer to 3 figures. So around 70k I would assume? Noticed that Caley are close to signing Gnapka also.

Anyone got any FM stats on Lee Cox? Couldn't possibly know less about him apart from the odd comment on here yesterday.

Thats very true, I have heard a lot of things about their players going to smaller clubs with the "billy big balls" attitude rather than going with the purpose of furthering themselves as people as well as players.

When they finally realise they havent "made it" then the better ones buckle down and start climbing the leagues again.

Using the Man Utd example.....thats why Jimmy Davis did so well for us on loan, a humble attitude, with effort and ability.
