Hayes is a good player. Their will be a lot of competition for all these players, so lets see how PDC does. We need one or two to get the ball rolling and show other players we mean business.

Although if he's playing for Charlton, he won't have to move if he joined Brentford. Sometimes it can come down to things like that and not be about size of the club etc.

Then we can claim he had a lack of ambition and move on Smiley

According to a Charlton mate, he scored 3 goals last year and was pushed down the pecking order when Leon Clarke joined them!

As Charlton swapped Benson for Clarke I wouldn't read into that too much.

The same Charlton that found McCormack surplus to requirements too.

So we're turning into a team of Charlton rejects?

I hope this doesn't end up the same way as the ex-Leeds clique...

Because this thread had fallen from my front page:

"Crawley town are to announce the signing of swindon's Alan Connell next week for a fee around £150k #STFC #CTFC"

Source: @FootieNews20121
Likelihood: The author spells Footy 'Footie' and thinks Redknapp is off to Qatar.

'Footy' or 'Footie', it's still a crime either way.

Guess which rumour website this is also on...?

We're fine for the moment i'm sure. Benno and Macca are not even close to being in the same league of ego's/big headedness of Prutton and Dougie.

As I mentioned earlier in this thread he would be a good signing if PdC can get him fit and lose some weight, I know he was on the transfer list and not much of a surprise he was on allegedly £12k per week.

A damn good striker at lower league level though with a good goals to games ratio. Scored 6 in 14 last season for Scunny in this league and has got almost 100 league goals in total.

I also hear from my Cardiff supporting mate that Steven Gerrards brother Anthony Gerrard is up for transfer too, a solid centre back who played really well against us for Walsall a couple of years ago, he would be a good signing too IMO.

Fleetwood are definately going to be a high profle side this season ahead after selling Vardy they are investing a lot in new signings such as Healy from Rangers (probable) and Johnson and they have made an offer to Jon Shaw who scored 35 goals last season for Gateshead.

Might be worth a punt for back to back promotions.
