I'm still convinced he can do a job for us.
On the rare occasions he did play there were touches of real class - too few, obviously, but the talent is there.
That shot on the turn against Rotherham(?) that hit the post, for one.
But I suppose he will fall into PdC's 'one hit and you're out' policy

He does remind me a bit of JAF and it's possible he could still come good.
I happen to think we've seen the last of him though.

when he played last yr he seemed to be always the furthest up the pitch, as a target man. as pdc adjusted the system with bostock dropping behind benson, maybe magera would be more suited to being back-up in that position

I think he will be back for pre-season training & if he shows enough, Paolo will keep him around. If not then he will be shipped out again. Thinking back to Fjortoft, I wonder how long he would have lasted today. Give him 6 games without a goal & he would of been hounded out of Town, and we would never have had those Aeroplane celebrations.

Great news if true, he's got lots of league 1/champ experience and he scores a few.

Could be interesting test of our ambition if true. If we can't attract players up against those type of teams (typically mid-table League 1) then building a team with championship potential could prove to be trickier.

Although if he's playing for Charlton, he won't have to move if he joined Brentford. Sometimes it can come down to things like that and not be about size of the club etc.
