Glad to see the Minturn news. We said many times last year that he needed an older head next to him, and Delaney (and Morrison??) could be just that. I think he could surprise many this year - there’s clearly talent there.

Not sold on Minturn (although don’t think he’s a bust either)
Has looked ok but not first team ready. Felt McGregor & Hunt looked more composed in the first team than Minturn ever has. Small sample sizes granted.
Feels a bit Twine-like to me. Currently not good enough to play here every week but it’s vital for his development that he’s playing every week - ideally just the one rung down the ladder.

He has reminded me a lot of a young Nathan Thompson, who clearly had talent and was good on the ball, but always looked to have a mistake in him somewhere.

I like Minturn but he needs a loan of playing week in week out, he doesn’t need another season of in and out. Keep Johnson around to provide cover for LCB as he’s left footed and Delaney apparently has injury concerns, then I’d want another experienced CB in the middle of the back 3.

Twitter rumour, George Cox. No me neither, formerly of FC Volendam in the Netherlands. Us and Charlton have shown an interest apparently.

Volendam got relegated last season. With 4 wins, 7 draws & 23 defeats in 34 games. Scored 34 & conceded 88. ….and they didn’t finish bottom* No idea how much Cox played or contributed to that awful record *on a technicality

Would be our fourth Left Back. Given it's EFL Hub also, unreliable.

They also said we were in for Arthur Gnahoue. A striker who scored a whopping 1 goal in 25 games last season.

Over 125 Eredivise appearances, worth a punt i feel if we offload a LB or two.

Little bit of padding the squad out with cheap youths I feel, but we're so far ahead of where I expected us to be......mustn't grumble I suppose.

The crawley user who mentioned jay williams to us, mentioned it as one of the next two to depart, the other being liam kelly to Franchise.
Peter oRourke is now reporting the liam kelly one. So perhaps the rumour for williams will be true as well.
