Smith will be the one to capture the fans imagination. Remember the wow factor Joe Kinnear approach.

Heard Devera's a right back. Do we really need another one what with Amankwaah AND Thompson and even Caddis, although I suspect he'll play right wing this season.

Apparently Devera wants to play for the Venezuelan national football team. That's good, I do like a good obscure international callup, and we're a bit lacking there with Dossevi gone.

But Right Back appears to be the new Left Back.

I must say we were told no signings were going to be announced until we get some top quality signings, A defender from a team that almost got relegated to the conference and a midfielder with 900 yellow cards and 2 reds last season from the conference hardly says "quality" and makes me think its a step in the right direction as Di Canio keeps preaching, meh guess its just typical STFC fan, winge about anything I suppose!!!

On the upside guess they have something to prove...

Devera and Flint at the heart of our defence next sesaon then?

Clearly look to be the signings of "agents" as noticed or Bodin, Dont think PDC is going to know a lot about a player from York or Barnet.

These signings won't capture the fans imagination but could prove to be good players.

I still feel that the big name player will be a striker..

Most fans have got to realise that we are in the basement division now so wont be able to sign big names as such, but i for one am happy with these potential signings, keep the faith

I don't know anything about either of these players, but if they are signing for us I will wait to see them play before making judgement. To be fair, they are from ther sort of level that we are going to be signing players from.

I would be curious to know if they are recommendations from our own scouts though.

If we don't sign the 5 Million Italian striker, the board are definitely showing no ambition.

Apparently Joe Devera has been attracting interest from none other than Crawley Town!

I have a feeling that most of the players we will be going after will also be attracting bids from Crawley too.

They are relatively young players. I think we need to buy more experienced players. Young players are notoriously inconsistent and when we are trying to go for promotion, experience is vital.
