Nominal fee, if at all. I suppose him being a high earner is one reason (The others being he didn't want to stay and he let us down).

I liked his work rate and liked him until I became heavily influenced by those around me. I felt he had something to offer. Like Batch says, there's a player in their somewhere. He's not half the player Ferry is though and it was an absolute travesty that Prutton saw time on the pitch over someone who'll tear his heart out for the team and dig in regardless.

Really not bothered, he had very little creativity, put in a couple of good forward runs every 5 games, looked like he could get sent off every game. He added some height in the centre but we lost far more by not playing Ferry.

Seems like we've off loaded two of the players who came in and ruined the balance of the team. I'd have Sheehan and Ferry above those two every day

I dont think I ever saw him have a good game for us (that is a consistent 90 minutes) let alone an outstanding one. And lets be honest when we signed him at the start of the season, with his reputation, we all expected some outstanding games amongst the good ones, not an occasional average game amongst the terrible ones

Agree with all of that.

Agree with all of that.

Apart from the Sheehan bit. He was the first to look for a new club before the season had even finished. He didn't want to sign for us in the first place and is only here because no one wants him, yet.

There are suggestions that there is more to the Sheehan story i believe. We'll struggle to get a better left back than him next year

We've already got Kennedy who is a better left back than Sheehan.

Good news about Prutton, he was awful - completely awful. How he got so many games ahead of Ferry and even Timlin was baffling.

Up there with our worst midfielders of all time, easily.

I'd still rather have him over Rose, which was what I was agreeing with more than a general comment on Sheehan.

I know what you're saying about Sheehan's displaying a less-than-stellar commitment to the club, still think on his day he's a good left back though.

Perhaps. But there's more chance of di Canio donning the red shirt than Sheehan next season. He won't play in L2.

On what basis is Kennedy better than Sheehan?

He had two loan spells last season and both sets of fans said he was woeful, In fact at Rotherham he was taken off at half time in a 5-0 defeat and never played for them again.

Has Pericard fucked off yet? If not, hopefully he's next out the door.

Quote from Owls Talk.....
"Yep. He's six footer, can play anywhere across the midfield, and is what most people would call a ball winner."

Oh dear....little do they know!! Lets hope they sign him before anyone from Hillsborough reads our thoughts!!!

Sounds like us last season. Are they in for a shock!

How many times has Kennedy played compared to Sheehan, you cant compare the two on that basis.  He has played under what 5 or 6 managers who have never seen him as a first choice or even second choice left back in most cases.
