Joseph "Joe" Devera (born 6 February 1987 in Southgate, Greater London) is an English footballer of Venezuelan origin currently playing for Barnet. Devera, a defender, is a product of the club's youth system, and broke into the first team in the 2006–07 season. He has since established himself as the club's first-choice right-back.

He was named as Barnet player of the year in 2008.[1] In March 2011 Devera announced that he wanted to play for the Venezuela national football team.[2]

On the 8th of May 2011, he was announced as Barnet's most improved and best player of the 2010/2011 campaign.[3]

I was quite happy with signing Prutton this time last year (the same way most of the Owls are feeling on that link above). However, he didn't really step up to the plate, maybe playing alongside Douglas was a factor, being too similar.
It could work out for him at Sheffield Wednesday, who knows?
At times he looked the best player on the park, other times he seemed disinterested.
I wish him all the best, but to be honest, he won't be missed.
