Good, far too many like him holding the club back.

Ralph could probably give some good tips on the 3.30pm at Chepstow though.

Was looking at free transfer CB's and here are a few that might fit, one far more experienced than the other 2.
Eli Christie ex Derby U21 CB aged 19 Olatunji Akinola ex West Ham CB aged 24 Tyler Blackett ex Man Utd LB/CB aged 28

Morris would be barking to let Shandy leave.

Has there actually ever been any evidence that he did anything at Wigan? From what I’ve seen none of there fans had ever heard of him.

Indeed. I'm pretty sure he has been found out this season after one or two things, and i personally dont expect him to be here by the end of the season.

I’m not sure there would be too much evidence, he was part of the recruitment team and working behind the scenes so wasn’t fronting that as head of recruitment or similar. He said on OSC recently that the remit at Wigan was to bring in proven players who had won promotion before which is the opposite of what he was brought into here to do…

so who employed him?
Did we hire a stats company (keily) that put him forward? is that how it went?
obviously Clem has ok'd it
whose plan of nearly every player recruited being young developable punts?
obviously Clem has ok'd it
I've no idea on the answers. genuinely. maybe it was on a podcast somewhere

Nah, I don’t think it’s ever been said how Sandro became known to the club. Not sure it has been directly asked either to be fair.
Hopefully there will be another fans forum style event before the season is out..

yeah hopefully
we don't know what 'the vision' is and whether Sandro is just following the brief, taking it to the extreme or just ballsing it up

There was some insinuation that it was via Kiely and the Gee Gee's.
I am not saying anything dodgy has happened, he could be an unheralded genius or amazing at interview or something. His short tenure at Wigan ended just before a Transfer Window - that would not suggest good things if your primary objective at work was recruitment.
He did, and still does I think, have a one man band Consultancy registered, which claims to be doing what he now does with us for clubs. Maybe he thought he could sell his wares, but then he took this job, so who knows.
Wigan just looks a bit suspect for me - he appears to be friends with David Whelan's Grandson who was also at Wigan I think, now Mansfield. Short tenure, friend of a friend - just looks a bit job for the boys.
In fairness to him, we'd all have a stab at it if we could bullshit our way in as well. That's assuming he's not amazing (evidence is not supporting his case thus far).
