I think we got a good balance of experience in the team/squad. I'd argue our more experienced players are the ones who have slowed us down and not performed at times this season. I know what you mean though but I think that's why I mentioned Clayton, captain at under 24s and a good player, I'd like more like that and less Harries,Tomi and Masseys

we do have a good mix.

I mean if Reed (gone), Hutton, iandolo and Gladwin were all to leave as per silly season rumours.

heck, Williams is in the Reed contract situation too..

that's a lot of experience to lose in a run in.

all hypothetical

Most over rated Town player in a long time.
Sideways passer and little else, no loss.

yeah, nearly as much as Billy Paynter

Keep Hutton and Williams but Gladwin, Iandolo and Reed far less of a loss IMO.

Agreed. Hutton and Williams would be horrible losses

I’m keen on seeing this seasons fitter version of Gladwin under new management. Probably one of our top performers this season. Less so of late, but that’s true of almost everyone. Could be more in the tank there yet perhaps.

Never realised Clough gave Reed his debut at Sheffield United.

Gladwin is worth having around for his leadership and maturity if nothing else. Even if he ends up being a backup player.

I think he's been utilised completely wrong the past 18 months. I know his body is fragile, but what's happened to the Gladwin who used to try killer through balls and had an eye for goal?

He has absolutely no confidence pulling the trigger anymore. Always doubts himself and plays the safe pass instead. I want a coach to grab hold of him and let him play with freedom. Push him higher up the pitch where he can cause damage. Not in the centre circle dwelling on the ball and getting caught.

Need to be careful though and i am in no way saying it is the case but he was good leadership under Lindsey and if he isn't under a new manager we have a problem really

Absolutely this, but, I hear hes not one of the happy players this season from what I have been told. If we have a commited Gladwin hes still an asset.

My signings (perm or loan) wish list to bolster squad: Left Back, Center Half, Attacking Midfielder and Wide Forward

Imo we can afford to lose: Iandolo, Mcdonald, Gladwin or Williams  (preferably not both though) and Adeloye

But can't  afford to lose: Brynn, FBT, Hutton and Khan

Obviously would need to replace any that we lose on top of the 4 additions.

Williams is far more important to this team than Gladwin. He is a must keep.

I get it’s a bit awkward because we don’t have a manager but as it’s January we need to start thinking about new contracts for players.

Get it done and signed early and out the way - rather than waiting till the summer when agents are out in full force and their is a massive turn over of players everywhere.
