Also RW has said a few times we are close to signing a number 9, just needs to be one he won't regret, typical bullshit from the "ITK" account claiming its an inside story

Does this mean someone with potential but yet to show it,or a bad boy who is a good number 9?

Nixon has just said we’re making “progress on a striker”. No names mentioned, though.

Did Wellens himself say the "one he won't regret" comment? If so then that can fit many strikers, Humpheys wouldn't be one of them that applies to though. Dominic Samuel, Omar Bogle, Will Grigg, Brett Pitman would all fit the decent strikers that have fallen by the wayside recently and all available for free but would all cost a fair bit in wages.

Your point is?
Now now! My point was that your post had a quote in a blue box, but then nothing from you underneath. I assumed that you’d posted before you added your comment. Hence “And your point is?” A perfectly reasonable question, I think.

Fair enough, my response was also in the blue box, I deleted some of the original post as it wasn't relevant to what I was asking. I posted it then saw/realised I hadn't scrolled down far enough to have my own paragraph not highlighted. What I was trying to understand was, will he regret the lad not reaching his potential ie Miles Storey, Billy Bodin or Lukas Magera or is he a wild child and upset the dressing room the law courts like Nile Ranger.

OK - I see. Easily done. Good question from you. I think Wellens seems better at handling bad boys than his predecessors were. A few ruffled feathers count for little if the ball is going in the net frequently.

That EFL Hub Twitter has just posted a picture of James Norwood. He’d be a more than adequate Doyle replacement!

Dundee United seem favourites to land him, pairing up with former Tranmere boss Mellon.
