Two of Cov's newbies are on loan and one was a swap it's not like they've gone out and spent money.

However I wish we'd acted as swiftly

1 out, 2 in so not as good as it seems as Sordell went the other way....... I am optimistic Sherwood has players coming in as Waterford signed 4 players yesterday along with a dof and coach the day before.

Maybe some of those will come here on loan?

I would be staggered if we didn't have at least 2 in before the Shrews game. With Furlong and Doughty back at QPR, we are light on bodies.

Prepare to be staggered!

Good point well made Smiley

To be honest I have really lost the will to be that interested in STFC anymore so I'm not exactly opening this thread expecting new signings!

I am feeling likewise, despite never feeling such during the heady Diamandis years, I wonder whether its the lack of progress combined with the general consensus that as a club/business Swindon are 'safe' and thus unlikley to go bust imminently has led to such apathy!

I think its a number of factors really. As i get older the love of the football club seems to diminish.

I can't remember the time I was really pissed off about Swindon losing a match, perhaps the Di Canio era. Even the PNE play-off game only brought about a shrug of disappointment.

The buzz has definitely gone.

It was PNE at Wembley that started the key factor in me.

Not the loss, the general no show and bullshitting Cooper with his 'Not our day' speech....

I felt mugged off and it keeps happening.....

Last game I went to. Apart from the Dux era, I hadn't seen fewer than four games a season since the early eighties. Personal circumstances account for some of it, but even though I'm generally pretty supportive of Power, I'm also waiting for something to happen. We're just flatlining at present.

Lee Power dismantled the 'rollercoaster' and has seemingly turned Town into a Football League filler side. In many ways this is a good thing but a lot of us don't know any different from the 'circus' of supporting the club over the last few decades. His one significant attempt at doing anything close to national interest (announcing Sherwood) resulted in more questions than answers.

We've had 30+ years of pretty much non-stop silliness (bad and good). Heck, it's almost two years since we've been associated with the High Court.

As fans we needed a reaction to the loss PNE loss. We got some joy from Ajose chalked off by a shit fee when he left, a few glamour friendlies, a goalkeeper with a cool surname and a collection of 'could go either way' decisions that went the way we didn't want it to go.

We'll get a few players who are so inexperienced they might not have a Wikipedia page, we'll survive relegation and run the risk of a repeat.

'It-could-go-either-way'

!!!NOW GIVE ME A TRANSFER RUMOUR!!!
