I'm not sure if I'm disappointed or not.

They fucking love our old defenders don't they? Ricketts, Stephens, Turnbull.
Haven't they seen us defend the past few seasons!?

I just want the players we have got to be fit and stay fit. I'm tired of having half a team forever on the sick.

Turnbull now off to Coventry on a permanent deal, they're paying more.
Might be on my own here but Im not impressed by Turnbull. I'd be happy if it freed up space for Stephens by far the better player

I liked Turnbull as a centre back, but agree Stephens is the better player. What chance he joins us, though?

Turnbull is by no means perfect. but he's got a lot of experience in the league and the way  we play.

my opinion is he has potential, whether he could realise that or not we'll see at whoever he joins.

shame, not disastrous.

I would say next to none. Our budget is tiny, so we 'll pick up loanees and if a permanent more likely to be non league or unattached like J S-W.

We might stretch to a bit extra for a front man...because of the old cliche, goalscoring is the hardest part.  In the 3 games we've had this season no "striker" has scored.

JSW isn't good enough to be first choice. Fine as a back up.

We need a left sided CB from somewhere. Shame about Turnbull but it comes down to money after all. We have paid out when we need to and everyone has a value so we just have to trust Power on that one i guess.

I'd love to get an experience CB from somewhere, really feel like an older head could make the world of difference to the team.

I'd love to of had Turnbull back here agreed he looked better alongside Stephens, he'd also be better than any current CB that we have. I won't include Nathan as to me he's not a CB  who is better at RB he's great bringing the ball out is good on the overlap and can cross a ball, where as at CB he's often exposed also having to cover for others resulting in last ditch tackles and normally red cards. What would help our defensive problems is having a midfielder alongside Kasim who can tackle and retain possession of the ball to ease the pressure on us, a leader a voice on the pitch someone who when things aren't going well rolls his sleeves up and can carry his team mates we need someone like McCormack instead we've got Anton Rodgers until we remove the weaker players out of the side our problems will continue.

I think most fans are resigned to that I personally can't understand why though it's not as if he offers anything to our midfield like Kasim or Doughty, maybe secretly Williams and Power see him as our next big money sale  if I'm honest I think he'd struggle to get on the bench for most L1 or L2 sides I think non-league is his level I'm hoping and praying Cooper might come back in for him.
