Seen that Chelsea have said it was a cash deal on offer. I don't think Rooney is worth 10 million on its own.

His passing is nowhere near to Scholes. Rooney is an arrogant cunt who thinks he's bigger than the club.

tbf to rooney he gets a lot of unnessary stick, one thing he is far from is arrogance- if you have listened to any of his interviews and the charity work he does you would know this. he is also a prolific striker, he stuggled last season but still got 16 in 36 games many of the bench. moyes has come out and said that should RVP get injured then rooney will be needed. I can completely understand where rooney is coming from, he is 27 years old and in a world cup year needs to be starting every week. he is easily good enough to start at most clubs in the world so why not ask to leave.

The blokes a cunt.
'In his statement released on Wednesday, explaining why he was leaving the club, Rooney effectively said that the current Manchester United team was not good enough for him'
When he wanted to leave last time, which was all a ploy for a bigger pay check.

Where in the statement does it say that?

Apologies if this has already been covered elsewhere, but just how many players from one club are we allowed on loan?

4 any type loans + 1 youth loan + 1 emergency keeper loan (7 days rolling) The matchday squad can comprise a mximum 5 loans

Cheers, been a few seasons since I played Champ Manager.
So Mason would complete the Spurs contingent then (as far as loans go).

It must be a real gut wrench to have to choose between Obika and Mason. Wonder which Spurs will choose for us.

I got the feeling they were trying to get shot of Obika so they'll probably have another £100k from us for him.

Mason is a very good player. Expect Collins to join Hudds soon

Anyone got any links to fan views on Mason. He seems to be highly regarded but I can only find one thread from Millwall fans moaning about him (his first appearance, and after injury). Good move for Collins, bit of a disaster for us - as things stand. Getting more concerned about this Spurs link. I think I can best explain it that I want our club to be the best it can, but that I find it statistically unlikely that Spurs have all the best players available within out budget. Yes I realise player recruitment hasn't finished yet, hope we get some proven players in as senior players depart.
