Its still massively different David Moyes wasn't given 46 million to spend in his first season and actually spent the first year keeping them in the division since then he has taken them to a champions league place and into europe I would say thats more down to skilled management than spending loads of players.  Moyes signs the right players who he knows will do a job in the premiership Lescott, Jagielka, Phil Neville, Sven should of took a leaf out of his book.

I felt he was an okay England manager no worse than any other of the past 2 decades.  As far as preperation goes he has had the whole season to make decent signings to which he has pretty much failed at Petrov and Elano aside.  Just look how much Benjani's form has dipped since he has been there.
