It was fairly even but Liverpool in the second half controlled the game at their pace and got both teams playing the type of football they wanted (i.e. stopped Arsenal's game).

Though Liverpool deserved the win in this leg, I didn't see the first leg.

Arriba, have you been down the pub tonight, the first leg was pretty even, on Saturday the best side without a doubt was Liverpool and tonight if you look at the stats any minute on the TV you will see Liverpool had more shots off targets, more on target, more corners, more possession and won 4-2!!!

As the man says - I too feel for Theo, to come on, engineer a goal to win the game and then have it thrown away must be gutting.

the first leg was pretty even but i thought arsenal edged it and were denied a stonewall penalty.i thought they also edged it on saturday and didn't really deserve to lose tonight.
it's debatabe because neither side was "by far the better team".
over the two legs arsenal can feel hard done by

two appalling penalty decisons ...

Arsenal robbed ... not for the first time this season ... the only side the refs seem to hate more than Swindon ..

i dont blame the ref for tonights pen as there was contact and a bit of pulling, infact its a 50/50 decision.
but the one last week was a fucking disgrace as the ref had a perfect view of it.

i'm not an arsenal fan either
