He is now back after the end of his loan spell at Torquay. Should MM include him in the squad for Friday night?

Yes.  The lad deserves a chance on the bench at least as he hasn't been given a proper one so far.  Based on our recent performances bar Carlisle, he might be an option.

Based on what?  The significant amount times you've seen him play for us this season?

I've seen enough. His "basics" just arnt good enough, like his 1st touch for example. His movement off the ball. Passing.

He's done nothing for us, bar 1 good headless chicken run v whoever. Do you suggest we just keeping playing someone who has had no impact whatseover in the vain hope he might do something?

I've nothing against the lad, I just dont think hes good enough. I've said all along I hope he proves me wrong and turns out to be a good player. I just dont think thats going to happen

Not at all.

I'm suggesting he deserves a chance before hes shipped out.

Could anyone please inform me what his goals/games ratio was for Torquay, as that will obviously have an impact on my next post in this thread

Forgot all about him.

I don't think he should walk into the squad above Paynter, Cox and Sturrock.

I think Lady was more suggesting he should be in the squad than the first team, I don't think anyone thinks he should be in ahead of our front strikers.

Useful option from the bench as he can play wide or up front.  I watched few of his games for Torquay and he looked a real threat running at people, not a write off yet IMO.

Least someone was aware what I was getting at.  A place on the bench though.  Can't do any harm.  I'd hardly suggest dropping Coxy, Paynter etc. for him.

Most definately put him in squad and play him off the bench in the last 10 mins if we are chasing a goal.  If a sumo style Akinfenwa can score a goal under similar circumstances then 100 mph Kaid aganist a tiring defence should be able to cause some havoc.  Even if he does not score a goal himself, with a little bit of guile he should earn us a penalty.

Plus 2 goals in 5 isn't bad for a loan period especially as they played him right wing the majority of the time.

Yes, we got that.

To clarify, in my opinion:

I don't think he should be selected ahead of Paynter, Cox and Sturrock up front.  1 of those will be sub.

He shouldn't be ahead of Mcnamee, McGovern, Easton, Peacock, Zaboub, or Timlin. 2 of those will be sub,

We need a defender on the bench, and a keeper. 2 more subs.

So there is no space in the squad for him.
