Leeds United will find out on Wednesday if their goalkeeper Casper Ankergren faces a Football Association ban.

The governing body has told BBC Radio Leeds that Ankergren's disciplinary hearing for improper conduct will be heard later this week.

The Dane has already pleaded guilty to allegedly throwing a missile into the crowd in a League One match against Swindon on 1 March.

Ankergren, who has asked for a personal hearing, could face a fine or a ban.

Ah, so they wait until there's one/two games left before sorting all this out, when it's perhaps too late to issue a meaningful punishment?! Sounds familiar...

...or they will ban him just in time for the play offs!
