Hmmf, I'd still like to know why the coppers haven't questioned him as well - it's not like a bad tackle or anything, if he intentionally threw objects at a crowd of people, it's a criminal offence, end of.

Ankergren had some stuff lobbed at him. He picked up something at the end of the game and lobbed it back into the crowd (after the crowd were already riled up at the loss etc.).

Not the most sensible thing to do.

The thing is though that whereas the chances of hitting him were slim when he threw the item back he was almost certain to hit someone. Furthermore the chances of him hitting the person who threw it were probably 1200 - 1.
He may have been wound up but what he did was as clear a criminal offence as the original perpetrator. Both should be prosecuted and both should be given the same sentence.

I think that he should be made to stand in front of the townend and anybody in there on that day gets given a 2p to throw at him.

That evens the odds out in my eyes.

Fucking hell some people get so uppity about this sort of thing.

It's the same as when someone mouths off at a player for 90 minutes then gets some verbals back, fair enough.

It's not exactly clever, lobbing something back, but ffs he didn't go and spark someone out.
