is it just me or can anyone really be bothered with the rest of the season?

i feel like i can't be arsed. that might just be my view from afar, but im struggling to see what will interest me for the rest of the season. Could also just be me hating us lose though

I think we all know the season is going to fade out into a mid table nothingness finish.....

I feel, if Sturrock was still in charge people would be looking forward to next season because with Sturrocks record you could almost bet your house on a top 6 finish.

Malpas doesnt have that track record so everyone like Bart is expecting the worst.

Nah £15 for more mid-table make you wanna fall asleep stuff. That said i'll still go on Saturday and probably for the rest of the season.

It's not like i was expecting us to reach the play-offs at any stage this season. But since mid-january, say after the Walsall away game, its been a bit of an effort.

Me neither. But it's fizzling out into nothing. Our games are usually boring bar the select few.

Maybe the fact i've got tonnes of Uni work before my finals and the realisation that we definately will finish mid-lower end of table has weakened my interest.

But saying that i managed to go to Oldham the other week so it can't be all that bad.

I don't want to come across like Bart though  Smiley

Ummmmm........

A stable financially secure club with a fairly comfortable mid table finish.....  I'll take it thanks.

I'd expected a dour scrap against relegation with us avoiding the drop in the last couple of weeks of the season AT BEST. To be honest although I tried to avoid banging on about it at the time I was fairly sure that we'd go tit's up altogether last year.

I'm just happy we can be having 10 page threads moaning on about fucking up a bid to get in the play-offs.

Just got back from the game

Orient were shite with a capital SHITE. We were a bit better them but really didn't create too many great chances...Coxy missing the best of the lot. It was a sitter. People moaned about Zaaboub coming on, but it was the only sensible option. People moaned at Sturrock, but he worked his arse off.

When we got the ball out wide and whipped crosses in (especially from McNamee) we looked really dangerous, but for some reason Malpas changed it to 4-3-3 and we lost the width and therefore all effectiveness. I've not criticised Malpas at all until now but taking McNamee off was the strangest decision I've seen in a long time.
Their penalty was a definite penalty, and some slack defending over a 10 minute period is what cost us tonight. No complaints about the referee, no complaints about effort/passion/desire, just wasn't our night.
