Cox not good enough? Why because he missed a sitter?? FFS every striker who's ever played football has missed a sitter like that. Imo it's true what theses managers say about strikers who miss chances like that "I'd be more worried if he didn't get himself into positions like....".
The lad will be fine, fuck me I do wonder what our Premier Leage experience would have been like when Jan couldn't score to save his life with people posting this kinda of stuff.
Cox's game last night, barring the miss, was fine, completely good enough.

Are you sure Batch-we could have been 2-0 up after 5 mins
I'm struggling to remember 2 early chances. My memory is poor.

i thought Cox lead the line well, much better than Sturrock. i know he gets hammered on here but he doesn't get in goalscoring positions, or hold the ball up. he's simply not good enough. bar the miss that cox was good last night.
Other than the 10/15-minute spell I thought we did ok. A shame we gave it away so easily because the game was for the taking. Orient were poor I thought.
Thought Jack Smith played well, and JP.
We didn't do a lot wrong last night, just buckled when it mattered.
What concerned me was the instruction from the sidelines. Malpas offerde little when we were up against it while Byrne reminded me of King the way the whisteled, ranted and raved. He hammers players, never encourages.

Apart from Cox's I don't recall many clear cut chances.
However I would like to say I thought we played OK last night.

"He hammers players, never encourages."
I notice this a lot at home games, Byrne just stands there ranting and raving a the lads. Can't be good for morale.

Someone mentioned it to me before the Barnet game, and i was lucky to be sat behind the bench at the cup defeat, where i saw it first hand. In particular he hammers Sturrock, who seems to hate it. But again last night I noticed him slaughtering people - that achieves nothing IMO.

what happened at half time was Malpas team talk Yep this is true. Malpas went out at half time and said "make sure you lose in the second half and give away a penalty if we leave with more than 0 points I wont be happy"

maybe, and this is a bit left field I know, the Leyton Orient players whent in at half time, realised that over the course of this season they are a better team than us, thought they'd not given it anough effort and came out with redoubled efforts for a bit? then, in a shocking twist for football, that side which may just be a smidgeon better, managed to get on top? I know, sorry for being so stupid.

As Swindon fans we have the god given right to have a manager whom under we win every single game, regardless of the fact that the opposition may just have better players than us. FACT!!!

I've got no issue with being beaten by a better team Mr Tuck, in this case it doesn't really stand up to scrutiny because Orient were bollocks!
