I actually think we miss Zaboob - he plays well down the left side with Vincent.

Whats up between MM and Zaboob? The game was crying out for someone who was less predictable than Roberts in the second half and but Zaboob seems to have been frozen out.

He falls over too much though. Don't like drama queens and by the looks of it neither does MM. I get the impression he doesn't like Pook much either.

thats what I thought. Zaaboub/McNamee...either one

Roberts was getting down the line then doing nothing with it. Thought the better option might have been to take Allen off for McNamee and play him left and move Roberts to the right.

If he continued to offer no final ball, then we could have sent JPM on.

On a brighter note, I couldn't hear any drums from where I was sitting.

See, Malpas couldn't even organise that properly. Wink

That cheered me up too.

I also thought the away fans stealing the balls was quite funny
.

That actually really pissed me off.

Agreed. I'd have let them out one by one and searched them all. Having missed that chance, I'm assuming an invoice is on its way to Elland Road.

Agree about Allen, very very promising young player. Needs to get in the gym and stock up a bit. But with more games I could see him being excellent.

I can't believe we didn't win yesterday... Talk about bloody one sided! Our lack of scoring and wins is beginning to concern me but we've got time to put it right... I hope.

I liked Allen too, always trying to get the ball down on the ground, moved into some nice positions. Very promising.

We will probably need another 9 points from 12 games to stay up.....we've got 9 from the last 9, so on current form we should be OK, but there are some tough looking fixtures .   Lose to Uddersfield on Tuesday and the alarm bells should start ringing....they're the sort of team to beat, lose a lot away from home don't score many and ship a few.

Worry is that it will be totally lacking atmosphere on Tuesday, can the players get themselves up, for this key fixture?

Was Roberts told to float the ball in from every corner? so fucking annoying its hard to score with a header when there isnt much power on the cross! Roberts needs to whip the corners in, if u look at Ashley Young he whips crosses in with pace and defenders cant deal with it, if i remember correctly villa have scored the most goals from set pieces and Young has the most assists in the prem

im not saying Roberts is as good as Young but surely some of our players could cross a ball with pace on it?

I'd be surprised if he ever played for us again.
