I just can't see the problem with say, making the Townend the smoking area full stop. Lets face it, who gives a fuck in there.

It's the law now I'm afraid in terms of covered/enclosed areas. We could ask about whether there's a possibility of opening up a (caged off?) gate at half time for those who can't go 2 hours without a fag, but I'd imagine the practical difficulties would be considerable. We'll ask the question though

  The TE was designated as no smoking long before the July 1st legislation.

  Hence the big signs up at the back stating no smoking.....SBC introduced the policy into their  buildings some years ago.

  I could always guarantee some laughs when being harrassed by stewards, by pointing out to them the might be better off implementing the rules of the ground, rather than giving my hangover grief.

we can but i end up smoking them........ its a bit weird really i can go two hours without but when you have had a drink to tend to want to smoke more.
