Reality check people... Yep. Agree with all of that. I never ever take any notice what other fans have to say about players we have signed as it invariably turns out to be a load of shit. If a League 1 team signs a player from a team in a higher league, it's pretty obvious that that player has not been performing fantastically well, week in week out, for the first team. If he had, then he wouldn't be dropping down to L1. But that clearly does not make him a crap player as we have seen time and time again. The latest examples being Corr and Cox. We seem to go through this with almost every player sign. People see fit to pass judgement on a player before he's even kicked a ball and when they clearly know absolutely nothing about him. I don't get it. |
