if fitton wants to get us in the championship then signing watford rejects isn't going to get us there. if they're not good enough to play in the championship, they're not good enough for us.
if these new owners are so minted then they ought to show some proper ambition and bring in players who can help us succeed, regardless of price. a loan signing and an undisclosed/nominal fee stinks of penny pinching.

I'm not disappointed, to be honest I don't really care either way had we signed them either way.
I'd rather we paid money though on someone in this league who is a standout performer in their current side - proven at this level rather than a young 'un as likely to be crap as they are worthwile.
