Good to see this one still going, over a year since it was born.
Feel free to put your favourite scenes up on here.
Anyone watching Generation Kill?
Early on, it would seem that The Wire was no fluke...

The montage at the end with the s1 theme tune is one of my favourites.

I can't remember if it was you Mex who said that they'd read Homicide: A Year On The Street, the David Simon book? But that scene with the photocopier really happened - quite a few times. It seems to have been almost a standard technique with the Balmer Police Department.

First episode was intersting, a lot of characters introduced. Will see how the next one goes before ordering series two.

That scene is quality. I may have to make a point of watching this at some point.

really good show, one of my all time fav's
s2 is a bit shit tho i reckon, polish dock people are boring
wont spoil it for anyone, but after the end of s5 there were so many things that i wanted to happen that didn't happen i got a bit pissed off
but still definitely worth watching
anyone seen the shield?

One of the things I liked most about s5 was precisely that it didn't complete all the stories - the fucked up, corrupt world just goes on... It's just all in the game.
