Although I have to say I liked Scott Endersby - saved an absolute blinder one year up at Carlisle in the FA Cup to earn us a 1-1 draw - then did them back here in the replay .... and that was when they were a pretty good side....

Whoops Scotty was fucking ace!

So small for a keeper..height wise but so acrobatic, the Carlisle away game was great, all the way up there on a wet winters saturday when they were in the old 2nd divison and we were in the 4th with about 600 town fans up there on the old special train....happy days....then turning them over in the replay at the CG!

From the ones I've seen I'd have to be boringly predictable and go for Digby.

Peter Downsborough was better than Digby.

Agree with Reg, Downsborough. Came back to Town years later with Bradford and won 1-0. He was unbelievable and the Town End chaired him off the pitch at the end even though we lost.

It was more fun the year we went from Div 3 to 2 when he played for Carlisle against us up there. I bet he remembers that one.

Wager we could make a decent 11 out of loan signings over the years.
