Quote from: "Terry Tibbs"
The conditional agreement will be conditional on the current board getting paid for shares etc etc. It's just another stage. Don't worry!

Perhaps as Bob Holt says it's just like buying a house, the conditional agreement is like exchange - committing yourself to purchase -  waiting for the money to be transfered as in completion.

I hope so anyway, it's all too tense and my F5 button is taking quite a hammering

The conditional is referring to agreement from all shareholders that the deal is ratified, so the contract will be signed today the main thing is that Wills and MD sign the deal which according to Radio Swindon will happen at lunchtime

But this sentence hints at more:

"He added that both parties were working hard on the small conditions that remained to see the deal through to completion."

Radio Swindon's 11am bulletin said the conditional deal *would* (not could) be signed at midday

well if these minor issues are signed this lunchtime, can the main contract be signed after, thus having it complete today?!

or doesn't it work like that

They are not going to announce anything like that until the deal is signed and sealed, more chance of getting something from AF than we have had in the past.

i think there is a gap when a conditional agreemenr is signed and then funds are transferred etc before the final contract is signed. or something.
