If you guys had got off your arses and joined the few of us that bothered to go to Southend, you would have seen fans united in singing about the future of the club, you would have seen some good player selection and tactics (yes, it seemed risky but it worked so fair play), and you would have genuinely felt for the players, and for Byrne and Williams who deserved more from a game against a decent side.

Not saying taht Byrne is the long term solution, but rushing into a decision and e,ploying somebody shite and affordable seems stupid to me when we can cling to the hope that the takeover might still go through.

Considering I'm currently trying to put my house back together following it getting destroyed by floods I'm so sorry that I'm not able to get to every game

what future? exactly

if you want to still believe in this takeover than more fool you because most of us have listened to the board cry wolf on too many occasions.

The deal was dead on Thursday, now everyone is united singing about our future as we lose another game with a pair of caretaker managers than have never managed to win a league point between them.

If we'd have had a proper manager in charge today we wouldnt have lost.

If we have no future it doesn't matter if we lost because we had a couple of caretaker managers.

I can see jimbob's original point now, I couldn't the other day.

Ooh we could appoint someone and see if we can sack them quicker than that guy at Torquay was sacked the other season.that way STFC would live on in the Guiness Book of records

yes....

......im not legal trading expert thingy but untill the club is axtually dead there will still be games of football. Higher finishers and winning games brings in more money anyway!

Unless you can honestly tell me, the club will die within 2 weeks (which as far as im aware you cant?!) then we need a new managers because whatever happens there will be another game on saturday and the saturday after etc etc
