Someone on MOS posted the flowing info you may want to check out, but I guess it isn't that much of an issue.
Problem with Prittlewell station closest to Roots Hall the line is closed for weekend engineering work from Liverpool Street.
Therefore nearest station is Southend Central served by trains from London Fenhurch Street...................... this is not a BIG problem but is 20 mins walk............ or.........
Buses 7, 8 ,9 0r 29 from Southend Bus Station to Roots Hall.
