...paying on the monthly installment plan, now is the time to surrender them back to the club and cancel the direct debit with the finance company. No more money to Newbury Plc must start now. Buy no tickets, no merchandise, no nothing. Until these cnuts have left the club they will not have a single penny more out of me. Look at the facts:
1/ Sturrock departure 2/ Takeover no closer despite continued promises 3/ Points deduction,WUP due anytime
This really could be the end.

and as useless as the board are, they are not to blame for sturrocks departure. he would go back to plymouth regardless of who is in the boardroom.

I'm not so sure about the Arriba. I think had the takeover completed a while ago, he was able to get a few players in on loan, he may have stayed. End of the day STFC is sailing close to the wind, we owe a lot of money. Sturrock has already been messed around by one sham of a takeover, perhaps he needs some stability at boardroom level and that's what Plymouth can offer.

Fitton thought that sturrock was the best manager outside the premiership. I wonder where this leaves the whole saga now... I know one thing for sure is that if he were in place he'd probably fight tooth and nail to keep him. Once again us fans are kept in the dark about it all.
I feel sick.

I do blame the board / takeover situation. We will probablly never know for sure if he would have stayed had things been rosier at STFC, but I cant help but think it removed any doubt from his thought process Still, onwards and downwards

Agree with the final sentence but I'm inclined to think that following the BEST fiasco where they made it pretty clear he was going to be a sacrificial lamb in the deal, he pretty much made his mind up to take the first decent job offered. In that scenario, probably the only difference the last few weeks (including transfer embargo) has made has been to extend the scope of "decent job" to include Barrow etc.
