That's the worst thing about this situation if PS does go. That interim period of having Williams back in charge. He'll probably go on a 72 hour bender to celebrate the good news.

To throw a few more names in the hat what about Steve Staunton / Gary Macalister / Mike Newell / Billy Davies (would he drop to this level ?) / Paul Simpson (ex Wycombe / Carlisle)
Personally I'd prefer either Newell or Simpson as I think they would be loyal and have experience...although I thought that of Sturrock
