If we get Luc Nijholt we can pretend to be dutch and support Holland in the Euros.

for the love of god, stop repeating yourself. i'm getting sick of reading the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and ovr and over and over and over and over and over.

when it comes to the crunch, the stumbling block doesn't carry sufficient weight to stop anything so if fitton proceeds then there's hope.

oh and there's no chance of ling coming to swindon. nijholt or cotterill for me.

I have to agree Sonic, with all the above....especially Ling...he wont leave the O's, it has to be Nijholt or Cotterill for me too.

A lot of people seem to think Cotterill is going to be the next manager, some people on thisis seem certain, i was wondering the same as you reg, would it be Fitton or the board who are making this appointment?

Good to hear that Fitton will be making the appointment.

I bet he wasn't consulted about Sturrock, the board probably let him go deliberately as a last parting shot to piss off the fans.

well, when i say he'll make the appointment, i base that on the assumption that he will be in charge as of tomorrow...

Fitton stated that Sturrock was the best man outside the premiership to manage the club? He will be fuming?!

As for manager I vote FB. Think his drinking habits will fit in nicely with some of our players.

I said Steve Cotterill when Sturrock was first mentioned to be going, I think he would do OK
