i dont know if you've noticed but we aren't exactly brazil under sturrock... No, but there is a difference between Sturrock getting it wide and getting crosses in and the aimless long ball Cotterill plays. And sadly I agree that Calderwood would probably not leave Forest. Ince could be a good shout though...

OK, here are some names who, I wouldn't mind betting a substantial sum of money, will NOT be replacing Sturrock, assuming he does go of course (I will be amazed if he doesn't) Ling, Calderwood, Hoddle, Ince. I have more chance of being crowned King of England than any of the above do of being the next Town manager. FACT!

as far as i'm concerned he did a great job at oxford. He did some great stuff there, but I'm not sure he'd be a valuable assett at this (much higher) level

inform him of the fact he has a contract which states he cant go elsewhere unless the board agree to it. contracts are worth fuck all. he'd find a way out and walk. there's no point trying to keep anyone at a club against their will. i'd be happy with cotteril but ideally i'd like someone with a set of balls and who isn't utterly naive.
