Isn't it funny how this has happened so quickly? The board want him gone before Monday so Fitton cannot even make an attempt to keep him. It's a parting shot from the board to piss the fans off and it seems to have worked sadly.

Well at least there are only 2 relegation spots to fall in to as Luton seem to be in free fall as well, Sturrock is a greedy cunt and hopefully he will get exactly the same slating as Wise because he is no different JUDAS

I can't agree with that, if he does go he's returning to a club in a higher division where he's hero worshipped. Bit of a no brainer for him, instead of remaining at a club with permanent financial woes and shambolic off the field issues.

Sad for us, but you gotta see where he's coming from.

I cannot fault Sturrock if he does go. His hands have been tied and he cannot do his job. Sturrock has been loyal everywhere he has wenmt, sadly because of the embargo and potential new owners etc he hasn't been able to fall in love with us. Sturrocks departure is not confirmed so... hold fire before slating Luggy.

Wise left because he was a cunt he had tools to do the job etc where as sturrock hasn't.

Not that dissimilar from Wise then. He went to a much much bigger club (than us and Plymouth) with a chairman who will give maximum support.

In my book they both signed a contract, and whilst managers are ephemeral in the grand scheme of things I do expect a couple of years under them to provide stability to our club. In short if they want higher league/bigger clubs don't fucking take the job in the first place.

So what is so different than when Wise left apart from going back to a club where he was loved, everything else is the same. The first sign of a better offer and he is off the man is a fat greedy cunt. With the takeover in the balance he could at least see how it pans out next week but the lure money of money and an easier life is too much to turn down lets just hope he takes that useless twat of a son with him.

Sturrock has not left yet. or it has not been confirmed, One article said he has left and it was very vague. Slating someone who has not left is not going to help things.

cant blame him for bettering himself. cant help thinking this is a stitch up and a nice earner for the board and a final up yours from the board before the takeover is confirmed. in all honesty it could be the begining of the end or the end of the begining. lets hope blair will be on his dads wish list as a stop gap striker.

If Sturrock goes good luck to him, no loyalty in football but he has not been treated wonderfully by the board.

If he hasnt gone then he will get 100% support but if he has then bye bye.

No one person is bigger than the club.

The surprise is that he's hung about for so long.....it was quite clear in the summer that he'd be happy to move on.   I suppose he wasn't going to walk out of a decent contract, but wait for the first offer.

Leaves us distinctly in the shitter.....relegation battle on now methinks.

May I also state, until Sturrock has handed in his notice and left support him, we need all the positive support for the team we can get as everything is so negative.

GET BEHIND THE TEAM FOR TODAYS BIG GAME.

Until its proved dont always believe what you read in the press.

I don't understand all this talk of loyalty.  Sturrock's relationship with STFC was not based on loyalty, and neither should it be.  It is contractual...in just the same way I have a contractual relationship with my employer.  Sturrock's first loyalty is to his family (just like the rest of us) and if Plymouth are going to offer him and his family some stability that the muppets running STFC could not, then who can blame him for moving?

Next time you see a player kissing the badge after he scores a goal, just remember he's saying 'This is the club that pays my wages' and nothing more.

I'm gutted.

Normally I'd agree with you  about the press, but we've seen enough of this down the years to know its accurate.

Agree 100% - I just hope the players don't use this as an excuse to put in a lack lustre performance and we end up getting thumped. If Luggy goes, so be it - he managed us out of League 2 so doesn't deserve a slating IMO.  I'd be more concerned if we lost Jerel Ifil.

On a personal level I wouldnt blame him.

But if he turns his back and abandons all those players he signed who came to play for him then he is a cunt. Far worse than Wise, because Wise never came out with the 'long term commitment' guff that Sturrock has.

Seeing as Fitton thought Sturrock was the only good thing about STFC I wonder if he will be changing his offer from £1 to 20p?
