Usual pre-match press conference??? YES It is the normal press conference. That is ARGYLE WORLD. Its a video of a conference that already happened with the caretaker boss.

Thanks Gazzza, wasn't going to bother paying for World down there! Lots of us jumping to conclusions ATM. Sorry for my temporary bout of bartitis. Hope this is all brinkmanship. Somehow I would have thought PS would at least speak to AF before clearing his desk. Until it all comes out we won't know if there are other forces at work here. I just hope it is all bollocks and those who are already slagging off and abusing will apologise.

Not even mention of speculation - which is strange because they mentioned that yesterday. Presumably they are trying to dig deeper?

Or had a short sharp threat from the club/old bill regarding stirring up trouble ahead of todays game. Lets face it neither are going to want protests and/or passionate fans venting any anger around the ground today.

Club deny approach on 12.00 news. PS will be at the CG today ..." possibly his last match" Plus news of trouble in the town centre, 40 men involved, arrests made.

Yep, and in other news it looks like the rovers fans have kicked off in the town centre (40 men fighting I think is what they said).
If Sturrock were to stay I'll happily lead the official "apologies" threads across the forums!

He's brought some good players to the club(and some crap ones) and as long as the good ones stay I wont shed too many tears.I'm sure we could persuade Martin Ling to jump on board

stay at a club with no prospect of making progress, transfer embargo, icompetant board etc etc. ? or go to a club where you only left to chance it in the prem with another, the fans love you, already had success there, higher league, better ground, have a home in the area, more dosh, etc etc.? i thought he would leave as soon as it was announced that matey had gone to leicester. and i dont blame him in the slightest. there is no such thing as loyalty in football nowadays, except for a clubs supporters.
