So Sturrock has gone it appears, just over a year ago wise left and now this has happened, i know the board are clowns but with Fitton taking over i thought Sturrock would have shown some loyalty and stayed, mind you he done the dirty on Plymouth a few years ago so i'm not really that surprised, maybe he knows something about the takeover, maybe it's not going to go through maybe that is why he left? anyway Sturrock take your useless son with you!!

Will this trigger protests after today's game? we have lost another good manager, who are we going to replace him with adrian fucking williams? this club is nothing but a fucking joke, things just go from bad to worse, what next? is the takeover going to collapse?

I knew Sturrock wouldn't stay here for that long but i really thought he wanted to at least get us into the championship before leaving, it just shows that manager's have no loyalty these days, why is it always us that have our managers taken off us?

Thats just a rehash of the Mail piece.

Its not 100% but it sure looks ominous.

No news yet. Nothing anywhere other than that vague daily mail announcement.

It isn't the boards fault if Sturrock goes, it will be his decision. He has previously stated he is loyal, so maybe he won't go?

If he goes what about Steve Cotterill, did well with shitty old Cheltenham

Cunt, total and utter dissloyal cunt. That's how I see him if he goes. No surprise, there is no such thing as integrity these days.

De ja vu on the Wise situation. Can't blame the guy though if he has gone, although I'd only trust the Mail as far as I can throw it.

my thoughts on sturrock are that if he goes, he must take his son with him.

in his own words "I know these men are honourable and I would expect them, I ask them, to appreciate tonight that this football club cannot afford to finance these type of players"

I don't know what the answer is. We all expect good successful managers to move on and test themselves at a higher level. We are always gutted but appreciative (eventually) when players do it, it would be the same with managers.

But they have to earn that respect. They have to stick around for more than a few months using us a mere stepping stone. Fuck em.

I would want him to come out today and address the fans, to give us answers. If he is to go then I want to hear it directly today at the game from him and not some shite newspaper/website. Or if he is to stay come out and say it. This would maintain my respect for him even if he does go.

Frankly, whether you like him or not you respect him for what he's done for the club. If he's there today, we need to sing his name from the first minute to the last. Maybe the decision's already been made, but if it hasn't, we need to swing his judgment.

Well at least there are only 2 relegation spots to fall in to as Luton seem to be in free fall as well, Sturrock is a greedy cunt and hopefully he will get exactly the same slating as Wise because he is no different JUDAS
