Please God not Capello. I would love to see Wenger but fear that it will be just a dream.

It is... read the latest issue of 4-4-2.

Good point made on TV earlier, who is going to want to take the job now with no competetive football for 10 months or so?

Bertie Vogts for england manager!!!

Because he has technical nous that has been sadly lacking under the last two fuck wits and he has the knack of bringing on young players.

I'll do it as caretaker. I think I can fit it in around my current job. I'd only cost 100K for 10 months too. I'll hand over to 'the right man' thereafter.

And I have a cunning plan to get us qualified for Euro '08. All I need is to start a civil war in either Russia or Croatia a few weeks before the start of the tournament.

It'll be Steve Bruce, that's why his move to Wigan has been held up.

As much as I think Wenger is probably the best coach in the world he'd be a disaster as England manager, can you see the players understanding what he wants?

His ideas would just go straight over their heads, simple passing and loads of movement etc. they just wouldn't have the capacity to implemant it and they'd just stand around looking confused as the opposition stroll the ball in the net.

I'd love Mourhino but I'd imagine he'd want to stay involved in club football for the forseeable future.

I'd quite like Klinsmann but I'd feel a bit wrong about have a German in charge.

As long as it ain't fucking Alladyce, we'd have 4-51 with big lump Kevin Davies up front
