Agreed with that, if they qualify I wouldn't mind seeing them (international footballers) get a one off payment, but other than that they should receive nowt (well maybe expenses).
Do you live on another planet or something??
They got booed off at half time due to one of the most abject performances I've ever seen from an England side.
What are the 80,000 English there supposed to do, politely applaud? Sing songs about how great McLaren is?
No there should have been an intense atmosphere from start to finish. I just think there seems to be a problem with the kind of supporters that go to Wembley, don't seem to be up for getting behind the country. hate to say it but they're a bit "loud and proud" when you do well, but "quiet and ashamed" when you're up against it.
Even though I can't stand them look at Liverpool Meelan a few years ago 3-0 down at half time, out classed by the rossinieri, and what do the scousers do, get 100% behind the team and look what happened, they got their just deserves and won the european cup. Now how come scousers seem capable of working this out and yet the average southerner seems to go down the boooing tactic?
I'm not having a dig, or meaning to go on about it, just expressing an opinion, and interested in england fans' point of views. If you don't like it just skip over my posts. Cheers.

The England fans are always a bit happy clappy. They have that fookin' band for a start. But in the grand scheme of things they weren't too negative and were pretty shell shocked from being 2-0 down early on.
Besides which, the crowd is only part of the issue. The whole setup needs a kick in the balls.

Pearce would die for the shirt unlike half of those useless pricks out there. pearce won't be wearing the shirt if he's manager, gary. i think o'neill's a good shout, openly admitted he was desperated for the job, has worked at all levels so is adept to getting the best out of what he's got.

If he gets a pay off, it's criminal. Sadly, not criminal, contractual.

So long as it a bus or train fare and they've got a ticket to prove it, fair enough. Although "expenses" when they're on tens of thousands a week seems a bit pointless. (It'd exclude Beckham's flights as well)

berti vogts anyone? I'm not sure they would give him the job Back then drawing against the Faroes' is slightly different to slipping up at home to Macedonia and Croatia. Having said that these days the Faroes team is made up of half decent Danes, who know they can't get a game for Denmark. Which is why they rarely get a dicking. Italy 3 FI 1, last night.

If he gets a pay off, it's criminal. Sadly, not criminal, contractual. The FA will imminently announce that McClaren, who is set for pay-off of up to £2.5m, has lost his job 18 months into a four-year contract.

Berti blooded a lot of the players that are playing now. But he was never going to be around to see the results. He is good manager, just had young inexperienced players to work with.

There's to be a "root and branch" investigation into what went wrong according to the FA - to be led by ...Barwick  Hopefully he will conclude the FA committee should be disbanded and replaced with an independant team that doesn't include premiership chairman who only care about their clubs and not England

Can't have Martin o Neil, Villa are starting to do well, if they steal him I won't be happy They have got Carson though..... Willie would have made a better attempt at that first goal. Actually he belongs to Liverpool, he is only on loan. Fucking useless.

Dachau - Barry Ferguson was quoted as saying
"It's hard to do what your manager says, when you can't understand a word he's saying on the touchline".
Fair play to Berti for blooding the youngsters, but his hand was forced. We had no one else to play - due to Rangers and Celtic playing hardly any Scots.

That sounds about right his accent is really strong, having met him I can agree with that
