I'm with Hertha and Gazzza on this.
For me the board and the football team are 2 seperate entities. I will always love the club, and for me the club is defined as the team, not the board.
Unfortunately they are connected, and in ways i would wish not, and christ i've been getting angrier and angrier about the plight of Yeovil and Mex, and i will do something, but i won't deprive myself of something i love, because things go on off the pitch that i'm not altogether embracing of.
Adversely i also feel that certain people within the club are licking their lips at the more annoyed fans deciding not to attend and not voice their concerns within the stadium.
Opinions are infectious. If one is given en masse, more people become effected by these opinions. If there's no one there to fight the clubs corner, fence sitters will forget about the problems in the end and eventually people will become content in their ignorance, as i often am.
But on my word, if there's a massive one game walk-out, or even a sit outside the ground game, i'm there. I'm in quite a 'smashing things up' mood about the state of things, but of course, i mean that in a metaphoric sense. I'm extremely unsettled and feeling quite uncomfortable and annoyed by the bans handed out. On one hand i want to be with Mex and Yeovil, but on the other i love the team. I feel pretty shit about not being more committed to their cause, i hope you understand lads!
I hope the above post was diplomatic enough forum mods. I was careful to try and keep my wording ambiguous. I will be more than willing to hand you my name and address if the club want it. That would be a truly delightful can of worms for them to open although an extremely unlikely one on the grounds of the above post.
