I have a season ticket I've already paid for and I want to see the team play. Thats why I got into football in the first place. It is a shame what has happened to mex and yeovil and I would hope that even if they dont go to home games which is understandable that they would still go to away games to watch the team. But why should Mex bother after the disgusting way he's been treated by the Club? I guess loyalty to the paying fans no longer matters in Football.

I couldn't not go. Simple as.
I can understand the reasons of those who are staying away, but for me personally it's like two different things.
I can boycott stuff like merchandise and food, but not the football.

I can boycott stuff like merchandise and food, but not the football. Fair play to you, nothing against anyone who still wants to go. Without going OTT I am truly angry at the way STFC is being controlled by these people and if it means I don't go for a while, then I won't. I'll feel better not giving them my hard earned money. Sounds a bit selfish in a way.

I am backing yeovil and mex. I am devestated for them. If someone told me I was not allowed to watch the team I love I'd be well pissed off. I would give my money to other clubs so I could watch the team away. I'm not giving anything to the club. All the extras I normally buy I havent.
- Vital Swindon Town hasnt sponsored the club - I haven't got names on back of shirts etc which cost more money. - Havent done VIP Days - Havent bought loads of stuff from club shop - Havent bought shirts for family etc for birthdays etc like last year. - Only bought food once or twice this season at the CG - Havent bothered with flags etc for L and P
I buy my season ticket and thats it to watch football. I dont even get to games until 2 now.
I am already boycotting things if you were, things I normally would do however I still watch the football as I have a season ticket already. If I was told I could not go, I wouldnt step foot in the County Ground again and would only watch the team away giving money to clubs who would appreciate it in the circumstances.

wrong as it may be, is it surprising they got banned? mex was all over the tv calling the board crooks etc, and yeovil was front page of the adver. they've been recognised and banned. expect more to get the same treatment.
and gazza you dont have to justify yourself for whatever you do.if you have an opinion stick to it

I used to, many moons ago, think there was no way in the world I could ever stop going, even if only for a bit. Now though, I quite frankly can't muster up the desire to. I hope to god it all changes and soon, because I get the impression the longer it stays as it is, the harder it will be to get back into it. Even in the 2-3 year period I staretd attending less (mainly because of money and having had a child etc), I still generally felt like going. Now I'm struggling to worry about it.
So it's not so much letting someone stop me from going, or protesting, it's that STFC has quite literally been drained away, well almost. Surely after seeing a 5-0 result on Sky i should have been feeling under pressure to go to the next game, but no. Never thought I'd feel like this, and can understand how people post such things as "went for 20 years and then just stopped in xx". My dad must have gone through the same thing, had STFC in his blood until the Hunt era, stopped going because he couldn't be bothered with spending money on it and now goes once every so often.

This club is more or less dead, this board are a disgrace and i'm not bothered if they come on here and see it, they treat the fans with contempt and do not give a toss what we think. Alienating the fans and banning them is not going to do them any favours at all, they are just digging and even bigger hole for themselves. I wouldn't give a penny to these idiots, i go to away games, i won't bother with home games. As for the players they are probably cheering us on, they are probably pissed off with not getting paid etc. This football club is a big fucking joke and i have had enough of this club and i bet alot of others have had enough as well, this club is a disgrace to the football league, we must be the biggest laughing stock ever thanks to the board!
