could someone please tell me where i can download the latest data update for fm2008? i also need the thing which lets you play the game without the need for the cd, as my drive is well on the way out. oh and is 8.0.2 the latest patch? ta.

Sorry dude, I have no idea. I think sipie linked to the latest patch somewhere a few pages ago on this thread. No idea about a no-cd crack, Isn't the subtle copy protections supposed to screw with your game if you use one of them? Although it's been out for a while so I guess somebody has probably got around it.

It is not possible otherwise is it? I got town into the Premiership the first time round I played it, but it was tough keeping them there. I decided to start again with the new patch but I can't seem to get into it. I find the game just that bit too frustrating now. |

I've had this game since Christmas, but I've never done more than one season on it (And that was with Derby) as it's pretty slow and I never really got into it.
Now i've got all the time in the world, I think i'll start another game with the Town, who i've never got past Christmas with. Fully patched and updated, should be fun. I'll keep you updated.
