I haven't decided whether or not to get it yet.  Usually when the new FM comes out, I pay it for a couple of weeks, then don't play it for ages, then get into it a couple of months before the new one is due to come out...

i got it today but haven't had chance to play it as i've spent all afternoon trying to put XP on this damned laptop

i thought i'd be clever and order it from cd-wow as its on 20.99 but it looks like they are very slow so wont get it for another week or so.

Is anyone else having problems with the resolution?? I bought this today and it looks all fuzzy. When i try removing the full screen tick in the preferences, its turns to windowed but vista doesnt let me save the settings. Im running 1280*800

So far have managed to get Bay Utd in the South African First Division to the top of the table, despite having an average home crowd of 380!!!  12 league games to go, and I am two points clear, so fingers crossed!

anyone else finding the goalkeepers invincible? i'm getting 10-15 shots on target per game and scoring one or two max.

I heard that a few years down the line it effects International qualification i.e 2 teams that qualify dont qualify and get swapped with 2 that didn't.....also when buying a player it doubles in value.

Although i don't think they have been 100% confirmed.

I'm sick of the same fucking bugs on this game every fucking year, they have people test this game so why do the same annoying bugs appear every year? i.e players picking up injuries all the time, loads of bookings every game, disallowed goals ahoy (i had 3 in one game).

I know one of the things they're working on for the first patch is the quality of feeder Club as you usually get given some shitty Irish team.

i cannot get any tactics to work.

i've played as real, bayern and ac milan because i want an easy game to get the hang of the UI whilst they patch it up and i'll thrash teams in pre-season and then fall to pieces.

i beat cagliari 3-1 in my  first league game then lose 3-0 to sevilla?! the keepers are either insanely good or my strikers fluff a dozen chances a game. it's fucking doing my head in...

Ditto. I'm getting played off the park by Dutch 3rd division sides at the moment, its fecking ridiculous. Thank god I haven't paid money for it yet and only have the demo. Think I might go back to FM07 until they sort it and I part with the hard-earned...

I am running away with the league with Swindon and only a couple of signings.

I play with a very narrow team with a 3-1-2-1-3 formation, short passing, mentality - all out attack, no width and creative freedom - little.

Very unrealistic tactics but they work like a dream for me, I am in April 1st season and 10 points clear at the top with some 4 and 5-0 wins, but the average is I let a goal or 2 a game but nearly always score more than they do!

i use my ace tatics from fm7 that work with any team. direct counter attacking with a playmaker. but with fm8 will have 20 shots on goal and the team im playing may have 4 and score 3. defence is shit no matter what i try. like sonic have tried plenty of different teams each with the same effect. its piss poor to be quite honest.

Starting a game as swindon but i have set it up to play the brazil league along side it, and now im buying a bunch of brazilian players for my swindon side. hehe

have not played the game for a couple of days but started a season with Swindon 10th in the league after 1 game beating huddesfield 2-1. Also made a profit of close to a million.

Finished my first full season, little disappointed but Chelsea romped away with the title, racking up 100 points in the end so it would have taken a herculean effort to catch them. I managed to beat them 4-1 in the FA Cup final though, so all is not lost :)

Playing FIFA Manager 2008, Swindon are shite, the County Ground looks nothing like it does in real life but the accounts are in the black :D

Is this game any good? I'm tempted to get it tonight, but I barely played 2007.

It's not as in depth or realistic as FM08 but I haven't got the time to spend hours trawling through player stats.  The 3D match engine is along the lines of FIFA 08 and is pretty entertaining although the commentary is dire.  Setting up tactics - players movements, free kicks and corners do make quite a difference to the gameplay, usually for the worse as players get knackered as I have them running too far to get back into position.  I've found the assistants and coaches useful as it leaves me to concentrate on the first team but this will change as I get more used to the game.  If you have played FIFA Manager before you will find the menus and layouts ok but it's not very intuitive.  Haven't really got stuck into the stadium editor yet as I need more money to build a triple decker where the Arkells is.  It's very disappointing that you can't change the backdrop of the stadium although there may be something on the net that allows this. Consequently, Swindon and every other urban ground is hemmed in by skyscrapers and they haven't bothered to model the ground correctly. There are loads of other features such as starting a club from scratch, inventing badges and kit design, creating a family! that are fine but not really central to the game.  The Swindon players stats are pretty good as in the first couple of games Cox has scored 5 times, Ifil is the best defender by miles and the Boob wanders down the left wing but won't bloody cross.

Bought this yesterday and been getting to grips with it really. I still haven't decided what tactics to use and I'm hovering around mid-table to top half in my first game I'm using as a trial.

I think I will start a new game in a minute and get properly sorted with that.

I've assembled a half decent league 1 team, currently sat top after 11 games and my tactics seem to be doing the job in most games.

Only issue is my central midfielders don't seem to stand out in any games. Think that definitely needs some tweaking.

Into my 4th season now, been using a great 343 formation that scores lots of goals for whichever side I use but now I have to constantly change it every couple of games as the opponents seem to have me sussed but 2 promotions with Swindon in the first 2 seasons  with a few cheap additions to the team.
But then got offered the Spurs job with lots of transfer funds!
Now teams just seem to hit me with late equalisers or every 3 games I get a huge win, 6 or 7 nil.

I get very few defeats but too many draws for my liking, Just taken the England job from a sacked Maclaren and won first 3 games scoring 12 conceding none, Micah Richards is fantastic as is Sergio Aguero.

Didnt want to leave Swindon but it was so hard to attract good players and the board didnt back me up with funds....surprise surprise, so I took Swindon to the Prem and deserted them....ring any bells Hoddle?

With Swindon I trimmed the squad down to increase the wages I could offer players, getting rid of my reserves and Yoofs and bought old players, and after xmas got Danny Haynes in on loan, he was great but wouldnt sign for me until I was top of the table?

Matt Jackson for a free is good, as is Leigh Mills on loan from Spurs, real quality.

Jourdy Brouwer from Liverpool is good and Daryl Fordyce from Glentoran.

The best prospect for me has been Per Wierauch from Chelski for £20k and Fransisco Duran from Liverpool for £20k.

Also check Man Ure reserves, they accept any offer of £0 for any transfer listed player as long as you put on a sell on clause!

Sonic - Get Dong Fangzhou on a season long loan from Man Utd. Also Albert Jarrett is fecking good!

Ali Uyanik is doing the business in goal as well. The fans are loving these players

Oh and Scott Donnelly, Chris James, Liam Atkin and Gary Stopforth on frees are good promosing players on frees at the start of the game.

I'm sat 3rd with 8 matches to go. In the paint pot final against dirty leeds as well.

I've found that the AI susses you out a lot more in this version. I've been going back to the tactics archive to revive some old versions of the one I'm using and that seems to do the trick for another few games. Think I need to invent a proper alternative tactic and a variation of my current one for away games.

i do not recommend anyone start a game in the blue square south. it appears to be a case of get the ball between the sticks and the keeper does not have a chance...that is when your guy can get it between the sticks and under the other bigger stick

of course keepers can't judge when to come out for a ball either. and the defenders are very slow...so a long ball just turns into a goal.

it's very strange and completely not down to tactics in any way at all

I have yet to start a game that low in 2008, I will give it a try and see if I have the same results as you, in 2007 with a few good signings on frees it used to be possible to get a fair few 7 or 8 nil wins in the Blue Square South/North.

The only parent clubs that are ever interested in Swindon are West Brom, Reading and Portsmouth.

Oh and Lucketti and Edworthy are good players that will sign for frees early in the game.

You've obviously not installed the patch. That was one of the major problems which the patch cures.

Managed to beat Leeds in the paint pot after dominating the game but being 1-0 down until the dying minutes. The equaliser came and so did a win on penalties which was how I beat every team in the cup  8)
Then Wise got sacked soon after  :D

Managed promotion via play offs after my players did their best to stay in the division. I now have the joy of sorting out a team ffit for Championship survival

Seems my latest tactic is coming up trumps at home - 17 points in 9 games and yest to lose. Away form is gash - 2 points from 8 games. Need to sort that out and once I have the relegation candidates will certainly be staying up.

I tend to use a simple 4-4-2, narrow play at Home and change it to Wide when playing Away especially when the opposing team doesn't like crosses into the box.

I know its Dorchester but these results speak for themselves, this is by far the best tactic I have made, it works at all levels and needs very little tweaking, just the passing....going from Direct to shoirt as you go up the leagues.

Averages about 20 shots per game, dont use any long shots at all, all set to no long shots, the mentality of the 3 DC's is set to ultra defensive.

I have got Swindon to the Prem in 3 years with this tactic it also works for top teams as well as teams as shit as Dorchester!

1 2-2 draw and 24 wins in the first 25 games, 116 goals for and 10 against.

Thought i would give a little update of my game so far....

1st Season as Swindon (League 1)...15th    I mainly decided to get used to the game, and save most of my money and get by with loans and very cheap signings.

2nd Season (League 1)....1st      I bought Simon Cox (even though he didnt do much first season) and he was brilliant. Scored 33 goals and ended up player of the year for Swindon and top goalscorer in the league.

3rd Season (Championship).....5th     Somehow managed to get in the playoffs in my first season! About to start them now, but basically realised you need to change your formation around every 7 or 8 games.

Players - The player that everyone should buy in their first season, as Swindon is Patrik Lomski....he will come to you, i bought him for 26k and now he is worth 3.1 Million. Dont expect too much in the first season, but he turns quality (and play him up front). He is a legend!

Graham Stack is currently the best Goalkeep in Championship (most MOTM awards)....he only cost me 4k in second season.

Mark Randall is the only player I have paid huge money for (1 million) but he has been worth it.

I'm looking for a central midfielder to add competition as Easton & Adams are playing well. A new central defender as im selling Ifil to Port Vale and i also need a new striker as Simon Cox returned to Reading which is a complete bastard especially as they turned down another loan move but accepted the Tranmere offer!  :evil:

Chris James is a total star in the lower leagues but if you havent got him on a free early on the he goes up in value very very quickly.

Frazier Campbell and Febian Brandy are great stikers with high goals to game average and will come to Swindon on Loan.

Chris Lucketti always perfrms well for me at CB and can be bought for didly squat from Sheff Utd.

Leon Constantine......in the last 3 seasons in my main game has played 65 games, scored 18 goals with 4 assists and 2 MOM with an average of 6.67 over 3 years, so 6 goals per season for 21 games per season...in my game he is now playing in the 2nd div for Stevenage, might be worth a punt.

Ive currently got Frazier Campbell on loan and he's pretty meh if im being honest, better coming on and playing the super sub role although it tends to be when im 2 goals to the good anyway.

Chris Lucketti is at the Dongs and ive had him in a previouys try with Swindon and he wasn't much cop either.

Ive found loads of Eastern European youngsters who look like they will turn into legends but can never get a work permit for them.  :evil:

The game does have a large random element in it which is good, I bought Lucketti twice and got player of the season 1st season and an average of 7.17 in the other.

Frazier Campbell I got on loan to replace Cox and he scored 23 in 27 games but I never played him off the bench, I gave that role to Cox!

Febian Brandy I use as a super sub and he has 12 goals from 3 first team ans 23 sub appearances, I think I should give him a go starting!

Its a conventional 343 formation with no fullbacks but 3 out and out stikers.

The partnership of Simon Cox and Winston Parks has worked wonders but now Parks has got injure for 3-4 weeks and Cox has gone back to Reading and loaned onto Tranmere, im left with Campbell, Paynter & Corr who can only seem to score in the reserves.

get ali fuseini from millwall, not all that great stats but he improves very quickly, should be available quite cheap from millwall for competition for adams and easton.

make sure you sign saulius mikoliunus (dunno quite how to spell it) on a free at the start of the 2nd year. he is very nice at doing passes

and Mikolandas turns quality....i bought him on a free second season, and next season sold him on to Preston for 1m.

go for some of Man U's/Liverpools/Arsenals youngsters, even on loan, Or even spurs, i managed to get Adel Taarbat on loan for my swindond squad.

Make sure when you start the game you pick up lauri della vale. a 15 year old fin, you can get him for free, and after 3 seasons he will be immense.

I signed some 17yr old kiddy from Hearts called Steve Husband, central midfielder and he's started very well indeed.

I went ahead with the signing of Leon Constantine and he scored 2 on debut, i also signed Danny Coles (City reject!) from Hull for £4k.

Im hearts at the moment, sent him out on loan to morton in the second season. fact

I've also got a superkid 18 year old called gary glen. Stats aren't special, but hes got 8 goals in 10 starts at the moment! Might be worth a look if your managing swindon.

Gary Glen turns into a very competant striker inside 2 years, great stats after 1 year and snapped up on my games by premier league teams for £100-150k so gotta be worth a punt with Swindon.

Well with 9 games left im 4th, 5 points behind 2nd place. I had a run of 5 games without a win which has seen me drop behind after being in the top 2 for a couple of months previously.

I finished 4th in the end and have now got Yeovil in the Play Off's.

I lost to Doncaster in the final!  :evil:

you need to unzip it to

C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\

then create a folder called "graphics" and then click on that folder and create a new one called "logos" inside of that and unzip there, then in the game you need to go to preferences and reload skin cache or something like that.

5 games into the second season: 4 wins and an opening day defeat to Southampton.

how are people finding the patch? i'm struggling. i started unemployed, took charge at palace but left after 12 games (1 win, 2 draws, 9 losses) and somehow got offered the job at lille. i've had a bit more success but am losing games i'm dominating.

i've had 6 penalties for and against in 11 games at lille too.

Like my post previous to yours i seem to be doing alright at the moment, when i got beat 6-3 at Home on the opening day i thought that the new patch curse had struck but ive done alright since the opening day blip.

im finding it much better, results seem a bit more realistic! Im getting 1-0 2-0 3-0's instead of stupid results like 7-4! james where did you get that nice black skin on that screen shot a few posts back?

I havent installed the patch as yet, I will do later.

With the last patch in the second season there are many wierd results, I have 75% possesion 21 shots and no goals, the oppo 3 shots 2 goals.

And some 5-0 and 6-0 away wins followed by 3-0 home defeats by lower teams and 5-3 and 6-3 or 6-4 results happen regularly too.

Just run the update and started a new game off, the only changes I see so far are that the board wont let me get rid of granville (excessive compensation) but did let me get rid of Byrne (same compensation)?

And when you sign a plyer the training box comes up next to the player report...oh and colours in the rating stars.....

I only been relegated after taking over late in the season as well, its wierd!

on a slightly related note, when i go to uninstall fm07, it comes up saying theres no java run time environemnt, and i should select a jvm by clicking a jvm file. Any idea what this means and how to solve it? cheers

Sounds like Java has been unistalled Dave, go to www.java.com and download the new one, then try again, if that doesnt work go into internet explorer settings then advanced and make sure java sun is enabled and jit compiler is enabled, hope this helps :)

You need to play with the Huge database patch or load all players from Luxemburg to get him.

I havent managed in France and I havent tried a SOuth American league as yet, tried the USA once but got pissed off with the player picks etc

first time I've tried the French leagues, quite like it - your reserves play in a decent standard league, good finances etc...

i tried brazil once but there's about a thousand leagues, very confusing! i quite liked the MLS, the draft system is awesome once you figure it out.

i want to play a game with real madrid but the patch has totally fucked up the spanish leagues as you can't register players properly

Whats the problem with the Spanish registering? I know in the first release the German international team was fucked up but I havent heard about the Spanish thing, I take it that it makes it impossible to play in that league then?

the german national team is greyed out, licencing issue. you can fix it by finding a data thing from somewhere, i don't much care tbh!

you can't register any players, so you're unable to select real players - it's playable but fucking pointless

it's the same for everyone, it seems to be regardless of how good your strikers are.

i've had a couple of games with 20+ shots on target and winning by one or two goals only. it's frustrating as hell, players missing one-on-ones...

According to people on the Sports interactive forums, a lot of shots are missed as they done this on purpose to make the scores realistic, also the keepers are made good to keep the scores down otherwise there would be stupid scores like 12-0 or something.

Miserable day outside, I have nowt to do here, thought I might try a challenge.

Take over at Swindon, not bring any players in on loan or permanent...even frees, use the squad supplied and work within budget restraints on staff etc.

See what it was like for Luggy working under tight constraints and with a transfer embargo.

Only being allowed to sell players and bring in staff but no players in whatsoever, I am going to give it 1 season to see what is possible!

i was thinking something along those lines,

start a team but dont buy any players, once players start to retire just use who you have in reserves, move them to your senior squad an then the u18's into the reserves and so on.

dont forget to put the debt in...

Sergio Aguero is Awesome on the game. Currently the Atletico Manager and he is my top goal scorer with 11 goals from 18 starts. I have also slapped a £35m price tag on him to starve off interest from Manchester United.

1st Season: Finished 12th League 1
2nd Season: Finished 1st League 1
3rd Season: Finished 6th in Championship (and won the playoffs)
4th Season: Finished 18th in Premiership
5th Season: Finished 1st in Championship - and had an easy run to FA cup final and played Man United - and somehow won 4-0! The next week they went on to win the Champions League.

About to start my 6th season, now in the Premiership.

if your player has a minimum release clause of 10 million and someone offers 10million or more, u cant reject the offer, and its down to the player to decide if he wants to leave, they usually do.

on the other hand if a player you want has a minimum release clause, u can offer it and the players club cant reject.

its something thats dont a lot in spain, you will find players such as david villa with release clauses of 70 odd milion, and some i have found have up to and over 100 mil.

every player in spain has a min fee release clause in their contract.

i have a bit of problem with my game now i downloaded some background pics for Prem Teams, Serie A and LA Liga teams and then extarcted them in to the folder designated. When to start the game, white blank screen. Went back and deleted said photos into recycle bin, then went to start the game it works.

Is the game that shit that you have to spending hours and hours putting non-important photo's in is more fun than playing the thing?

It's not as if having the proper grounds in the background or pics of the player on their profiles can really add to the amazing realism.

Also signed a young Romanian AMRC from Hearts who is going to be a gem in the future.

Farfan chose Villa over me after I had an offer of 6 million accepted. My budget at Pompey for qualifying for Europe is 13.75 million, but I managed to sell Richard Hughes for 1.5 mill to Stoke and Djimi Traore for 1 million to Wigan so had a nice cool 15 million ish to spend.

Go for Ever Bangera from Boca Juniors he will probably cost ya around 3.5m. He is a good defensive midfielder.

Mine took a while and the B's still not right. The afterthought of adding the little waving man is genius though, and the blending of the colours is pretty good. There's not actually that many used. Bit of pixel by pixel dithering involved.

Offides are OK cos' it's easy to see but there is no way I can tell a foul or not by two circles coming together no matter how may times I replay the incident.

I've just created a new tactic. Looks very promising. Beat Leeds 5-1 at Elland Road in a friendly, Supermarine 4-1 and just onto my first fixture of the new season beat Hull 5-0 away from home.

Hope that continues as I've been struggling with tactics up til now.

Not played for a few days but I am top of League 1 in my second second (First season I was way off).

I picked up a chappie called Cesnauskis (AM L/R) on a free, I signed him on my first season and had to wait for his contract to expire till the end of that season. He is the dogs nuts I can tell thee.

But back to my question, and at the third time of asking: When the press ask if a penalty was a penalty or not, is there a way of being sure from 2 circles clashing into each other on the replays or am I missing something here?

cesnauskis was shit for me.

my general rule of thumb is to defend the decision if it went for you, criticise the decision if it went against you. i never try and judge anything using the replays

Cesnauskis is arguably my best player, asides from Daniel Huss whom I picked up from a recommendation from this thread.

I find that if I dispute the decision then the FL get all shitty with me, to the point of me getting touchline bans. And then so the board get shitty wiv me also. And if I ignore it (No comment) then the players get shitty wiv me for not sticking up for them.

I reckon that the should drop that part of the game.

Played up to 27th December, sitting 11th in the league. Would have been higher but for a terrible run at the start of the season where I couldn't buy a win. Changed tactics slightly and have improved massively. Just beat Carlisle at home 3-0. My forward line is Simon Cox and Will Hoskins (my leading scorer) who is on loan from Watford and is class. Signed Matt Jansen on a free who is a supersub and Luke Beckett who was a total waste of time.

Signed Dado Prso who is ineligible to play until 31 December and has started to moan about his lack of first team football! Tres annoying!

vice versa for me, i'm scoring plenty and although i'm conceding a few i'm doing well, scored 96 and conceded 58 in 45 games so far this season.

Turn down time wasting (waste more time). It'll make your team take its time and only create the quality chances rather than shoot at will in the hope something happens.

Turn off long shots for anyone who has less than 15 attribute. Perhaps turn down creative freedom too.

I find that asking my existing players for recommendations can reveal a few beauties.

This has probably already been mentioned but with the new patch downloaded my flatmate is top of the league with Leicester after about 6 or 7 games and the board have said he should be performing slightly better. In the prematch and post match comments it says 'even though Leicester have been underperforming at home....'. He has won all of his home games!

Surely patches are designed to fix nonsense like this!

2nd season- tipped for relagations, i said mid-table finish ended up 12th
3rd season- again tipped for relagations, i said fuck you and told the board a top half finish and finished 8th.
4ths season- for the 3rd time tipped for relagations, but i said i'd get into europe. 10 games in i was sitting top with only 1 loss, ended up finishing 5th and got into europe. Go me.

Wow I managed to stay up in the Premier League by the skin of my teeth. Signed a few better players out of my remaining transfer budget for the season and agreed terms with a few out of contract players.

I think I may have cracked the tactics a bit better, well the change in my last 4 games kept me up  :)

I'm Watford got promotion to the premier, started off well then went through a spell of not being able to win a game, just changed tactics and won my next game 5-3, also got £12m to spend in the january transfer window, so I think I will strengthen the midfield and pay a few decent fee's.

I just started my second season with Swindon, still in League One.

I got £2.9 million to spend, so far I bought Dean Brill (GK) for £325k and some winger from QPR whose name I forget for £650k.

Anyone got any good training schedules for either senior pro's or youth teams  ?

the ones I create very few players improve (get green arrows) ?? although I have only used it for 2 seasons and the 2nd season I cleared out all my coaches and got decent ones with good stats...so not sure if I should persevere or not ??!!

Do a google for CMFrenzy training schedules, work well for me.

I can't seem to find any formation that is any good for Pompey. So frustrating. I also missed 7 penalties in a row so I resigned in frustration!

Thats a case in point. Theres so many instances of bad luck or just plain idiocy in the game that it just gets unplayable after a while. I'll still play it, but i get sooo frustrated at it its not good.

I disagree. If you watched every match in its entirety there would probably be just as many examples which do/don't lead to goals.

I understand your point. But things like your top striker missing 5 one on ones and then the opposition scoring with their only chance of the game happen fairly regularly in this game, and its just not funny.

There's all sorts to consider though, morale and time wasting come into play an awful lot.

The only thing that annoys me is the corners bug and sometimes you can get a pretty crap opposition player doing magical things. I guess the latter can happen in real life sometimes.

Maybe. I don't know never tried fm online. Do a google search for FM08 port forwarding multiplayer or something. If you do have to do it it just means a bit of trickery in your router settings so it forwards information coming to your router for a certain port to the right IP address. Or something.

I've moved up from CM4 (I spilt wine on the CD) up to CM03/04. Which I believe is the last CM before the CM/FM split.

It's pretty similar just means I don't know which noregian super attacking midfielder which scores 30+ with another 30+ assists from behind the front 2 each season.

You need a huge database? You'll need to download a patch to get it.

Chris James is a good reserve for me in the Prem, and Fabio Fario is a good first team player, both of whom I picked up on my first season.

i'm at the end of january now, so far beaten lincoln and walsall in the FA cup, drew Fulham at home in the 3rd round, dicked em 3-0 :D got an away trip to Blackpool in the 4th round, 3-3 draw after going ahead twice, looking forward to the replay :D about 6th in the league, daryle murphy scored 10 goals in 11 games, has then scored twice in about 15.  :?

In my brief playing of the newer FMs, I always found that it was a good idea to media praise a few of your key, good high average rating, players (I presume you can still do that?, I think the newest one I played was 06ish),  before a busy run in of games, so normally a bit before Christmas.

Obviously it depends on their personalities and stuff. Some players just get lazy if you do that.

oh yeah. Young players particularly.

All these are Under 19's (some are wonderkids) and available when you start the game with the huge database most have poor stats to start with but develop quickly and all turn into world class players inside 2-3 years, get them if you can, a couple do need work permits for England though.

Get Aquino.  I bought him for 3.5 Mill-ish as an 18 year old. He broke into the first team at 20 and has so far scored 40 goals for me this season, and the season ain't even over yet.

Only problem is that every cunt wants him now, and so I may lose him soon. (I won't let him go for any less than 25-30 mill though)

Ezequiel Garay is ace also,  develops really well

he is on my shortlist on my game. I have tracking him for around 2 yrs. He is at Milan and they won't budge when i offered 18m.
