Reading between the lines surely to Christ all the man is saying is "for fuck sake you lot calm down there's still a chance of us doing this deal and you're not helping".

I don't blame him for saying that, he's sort of forced into it because of his position.

However, he can fuck off! This deal isn't being threatened by a few hundred people venting their spleens at the board, it's being threatened by the greed of that board.

The more people can let the bastards know that  we're aware of that and that we're not fucking happy the better.

I hope SSW has found the time to develop another leisure interest 'cause I don't think he's going to find the welcome at the County Ground all that friendly in the future if we survive.

I understand the frustration and anger, but have to agree with Macca.  We might not like it, but this chap represents our best chance of survival.  I am fairly sure he wants to do a deal, but is none too keen on paying a £11 million premium to James Wills and Diamandis for shag all.  Which I think is understandable.

No problem with that but don't send out such a patronising message to the masses then.

... and the reason this deal, that was apparently agreed about 6 WEEKS ago with new chairmen being introduced to the TV and has been dragging on since then etc etc has fallen through is because of some protests THREE DAYS ago ?!!  FUCK OFF !!

Sorry Lady we have a right to be angry of course we do and im as angry as the next person. Little is probably being a bit media savvy and saying these things to keep the current lot sweet. We cannot afford to start blaming the wrong people though otherwise we will be fucked. Imagine if we go bust and find that veiga and co were put off by the abuse they got off fans before they had even taken over.

Macca is 100% right. I'm not really sure what else you expect Little to have said whilst negoitiations are at a delicate stage.  

Giving an interview to the adver that states the current lot are a set of incompentant fools isnt going to help him and his chums buy the club is it? Not everything people say in the media is true or a genuine reflection of how they feel is it?

Can we please try not lynch what appears to be the only hope the club has got left. Or at least wait til they've been in charge for a month or 2?

In part.....Yes - hence the 'calm down calm down everything going to be OK' message - that has nothing to do with appeasing the Board. The other crap (in bold above) was for the Board's benefit.

I agree with Macca, he's trying to ensure that in the media at least they are not the bad guys.  I don't blame BEST for any of this and I think he's just doing what he thinks best given the press coverage (he mentions a boycott for example so clearly doesn't really know what is going on and why).

The exclusivity thing shows up very clearly that both sides are singing of different hymh sheets.

I do wish people would speak with a little more info to hand and little less patronisingly though.  If you can't begin to worry when the club is technically open to a winding-up order being served any day, by people who have just done the same thing to another club, when can you?

Jim, it's not your fault, just remember that.  It is someones fault the the club is in the terrible position it is though.

The exclusivity thing seems quite clear to me

When they started talking about the deal there wasnt one

When BEST signed some sort of non-binding commitment to buy the club an exclusivity clause was part of that. This has now expired
