When we met him, Jim Little was very clear that they would pay the CVA along with the other long-term debts when they took over. And that has been consistently taken as a basic in comments by all sides. So if it is a sticking point now, it would seem to be quite a turn-round from what was being taken as a given just a few weeks ago.

I reckon that the sellers are playing silly buggers and won't sign over the club until it's paid and the buyers won't pay until the club is sihned over to them. Hence crazy stalemate action.
I've just made that story up though, but it sounds good, admit it.

Well, yes, except that that's what exchanging contracts in any deal is all about - you pay the monies owed when the contracts are signed and exchanged. It's a basic of any business deal. In that respect, it's a lot like buying a house .....

It was found in the home dressing room showers, so quite likely.....nah only joking.....its easy to confuse the familiar wood louse type critter, which is an isopod, or member of the crustacea genus.....with the less familiar for some of us, headlouse type critter, which is an insect. The bad boy in the pic is a marine isopod hence its giganticism. |
