i get the impression he's a good player from reading the R & D sites but i'm not sure he's really what we need.

possibly not - i dont think theres anyway you could desribe Gurney as a central midfielder.

Having said that i do think we miss his aggression and ability to wind the other team up, if not his poor diiplinary record and terrible passing/shooting

Our team seems like a buch of nice boys at the moment that allow themselves to be bullied by technically inferior players
