the goalkeeping coach has been on the scene awhile, was announced that he was taking over from stowell in the meantime - presumably this will now be a permanent appointment.
murmurs of a fitness coach have been abound for a couple of weeks, don't see anything sinister there - if the new owners are here to push portuguese footballers through the system, what use is a fitness coach going to be to them?
the almeida situation is odd, it must be said. however it could be something simple such as international clearance and not wanting to announce a deal when it could still fall through - remember rocastle?
sturrock never talks about anything in his interviews and dodges everything so i'm not particularly surprised.

Well, yes but the difference being there that Rocastle hadn't signed, whereas this guy apparently signed last week or before but no-one was told about it. Which is odd. More importantly, what's his middle name and is it the same as his grandad's? |

Swindon Town boss Paul Sturrock could be in line for the vacant manager's job at Leicester City.
BBC Sport understands that an approach has been made to Sturrock from the Championship club, who recently parted company with boss Martin Allen.
Sturrock has managed sides to four promotions in the last six seasons.

unless the players comming in are better than whats here already then they wont be worth much in the stfc shop window. at the end of the day if they aint good enough they wont get picked by sturrock. it remains to be seen if sturrocks rejection of this type of interference will be tollerated by the club lets face it we hardly bent over to keep wise and poyet we effectedly said come and get em to leeds. you can see the same hapen again and a yes man comming in.
