have we paid the CVA yet?

in fact; what the fuck is going on? i've heard nothing in the past week about the cva, investment, consortium(s), bill power - nothing. is this the end for the fan's consortium? i genuinely cannot see any progress being made now.

No doubt with the news that the new owners will be taking over within the next 7 days this is the end for bill power and the fans consortium, in my opinion the new owners will pay him off just to get rid of him, that's what i think will happen.

Also if the new owners are having 75% of the club i think carson, bowden, holt, gray, lambert etc will be out of a job, they will bring their own people in, only diamandis will stay and he won't be running the show anymore.

I thought the new owners was a Consortium?
Made up of Mike Diamandis, Sir Seaton and Mystery Foreign Investor - and if that is the case he will still be be there.

if seaton has only got 25% of the club it cuts down his clout considerably. Diamandis is nothing without Seatons stake.

Well i all know is that the new owners want 75% which means they would be running things, i'm not totally sure about diamandis, hopefully he will be in the background and not running things, just wish these new owners would come out and say who they are, i'm sure we will find out soon.

I read it that Sir Seaton has 25% and The Consortium 75%, the Consortium includes Sir Seaton.

Interesting, i read it like this:

The consortium will own 100% of the club

The new boys will own 75% of the club

Sir Seaton Wills will own 25% of the club

Or am i being thick?

The best scenario would see Diamandis demoted to Tea Boy (where he can do no harm), but I'm not optimistic.

so long as the wills family and diamandis leave, i'll be happy.

where does it say the new consortium will be in place within seven days?

more to the point, why are people not putting pressure on the club to name the people behind the consortium - they placed demands on the fan's consortium; so why so secretive?

That's how I see it.

I'm bring optimistic about all this, it's hard because I think we've all (rightfully) got into a bit of a habit of negativity over the last few years. I'm going to break it, not that it will make any difference, and will probably just make me feel worse when everything goes wrong again. But I've decided and optimism it is.

Maybe if we all think happy thoughts everything will turn out ace.
