As things stand, the Holding Co owns a little over 70% of the shares of the football club. Shares in the Holding Co used to stand at:

J Wills: 66%
Mysterious bloke holding shares through nominee account: 33%

Since they rejigged the shareholding to make out Bill Power had bought shares, the listing sent to Companies House now says the holding is as follows

J Wills: 51%
Mysterious bloke holding shares through nominee account: 24%
Bill and Phil: 25%

(or roughly in those proportions anyway). Obviously

Which would mean that the "New Consortium" cannot take 75% of the football club or (without conceding that they owe Bill Power £1.2m) the holding co. What they can do is take 75% of J Wills plus mysterious bloke's interest in the holding co, leaving James and MB 25% of their original shareholding or, more likely, set up a new holding co which they will split 75-25. What would be interesting to see then would be whether the board sell or give that new holding co the 70% shares in the football club directly, essentially leaving the old holding co as a shell or whether they sell the new holding co their stake in the old holding co, so that the new holding co controls the football club that way. Either way is potentially fraught with legal problems while the status of Bill's money is still in dispute and the board try to maintain the stance that he has shares in the holding co. They could end up blowing their own sale out of the water, if they're not careful with this.

Interesting, i read it like this:

The consortium will own 100% of the club

The new boys will own 75% of the club

Sir Seaton Wills will own 25% of the club

Or am i being thick?

That's how I see it.

I'm bring optimistic about all this, it's hard because I think we've all (rightfully) got into a bit of a habit of negativity over the last few years. I'm going to break it, not that it will make any difference, and will probably just make me feel worse when everything goes wrong again. But I've decided and optimism it is.

Maybe if we all think happy thoughts everything will turn out ace.

You're going to be one disappointed bunny FB......

Something has gotta go good sometime.  Like karma. Although thinking about the cuntish status of most of our fans. We probably deserve all the shit we get.....

No, you aren't bringing me down Mr. Reg. I won't let you do it. Optimism is the way forward. New consortium will come in with millions of £ of investment whilst simultaneously packing up Mr D and co's burning briefcases of fire.

Happy days.

I did optimism with the Fan's Consortium.....

I feel like Laocoon with his warning about Greeks bearing gifts.....but he got scoffed by a bunch of serpents,  a fate I'd rather avoid.

Its a thought....I once walked up Croagh  Patrick.....from whence the eponymous saint banished ophidians from Hibernia, perhaps that will save me.

somewhere (i dont remember where) it was stated that the new consortium consists of the new investor, sir seton wills, and mike diamandes.

so in summary, he's here to stay.
Your right except james instead of sir seton.

That's the key to the whole thing I think. They did say something about a new company shortly after they announced the take over.
This along with the CVA non payment thing, again is typically suspicious, particularly when you have to view the whole thing with a sceptical slant. (Due to the boards past history).
I would like to say what I think of them, but have already been threatened with a ban from this is for stating my opinion.

I hope to be proven wrong but I see it this way:

This is merely some form of financial/company re-jigging going on.

The mysterious investor probably doesnt exist or if he does he is greek from the newbury area, I would suspect that any perceived investment is paper based and wont involve cash.

We are all doomed!

The frustrating thing is that neither does anyone else, but they right lots of words pretending they do, and end up repeating themselves. Then we end up with threads that say nothing new, but just involve people working themselves up, and scaring everybody into thinking that this is somehow the worst thing to happen.

The fact of the matter is, we know very little of what is going on, and untill we do its probably best that people stop pretending they know whats-what, and making assumptions. Everything will work out well in the end, just believe.

I had an e-mail from the editor of this is. They had a complaint apparently.
I had to ask them wht I had posted that was deemed "offensive".
To their credit they did send be a copy, & I guess calling certain people liars & cheats, could have been expressed differently :jaw2:
