hang on,i bet shearer has regrets about his lack of silverware.keane has loads to his name. like him or not he's won the lot in domestic and euro footy also, let's not forget that shearer chose to join blackburn instead of manchester united. no hometown romance there, just the lure of lots and lots of money. Would that be the year he won the league with blackburn

Anyway.....
I think Chopra is a good player, but certainly not £5m worth and definately not Premiership class. Thoughts? good championship player, most transfer fees have been over-hyped so the price is not too much of a surprise. Chop's only NUFC goal was at the Stadium of Shite which prompted wide levels of celebrations from him. Quality

well chopra scored more goals than david nugent did last season, so £5million is a bargain in comparison.

Actually Hertha I never had a problem with Shearer v Scotland to be fair, think he only played against us twice.
it was more of a personal thing, I do think he's a smarmy thug, who for some reason managed to get away with being a dirty bastard whilst others, like Keane, were villified by all and sundry.
I do agree with the penalty point though, he could take a mean penalty.

Not the question though mate, that season he proved he made the right decision. After that he will be remembered fondly as a legend by all newcastle fans.. If he had joined utd he would of been remembered as that cunt who utd had
